So first let me tell you, Mackenzie has night terrors. She usually has them once a week, she can be totally asleep, screaming and crying at the top of her lungs, sometimes standing in the corner staring at the wall. (its kinda scary)...when she is having one I actually get a little bit scared thinking about where she will be standing or what she will be mumbling....Imagine the girl from that stupid scary movie "the ring", that's what she looks like in her dark room, hunched over, hair in her face. scary thought. OK, Traci-STOP!
Lately she has told us that she has nightmares about the Abominable Snowman coming out of her closet...to which I say, he is only grumpy because he has no friends, but then Rudolph and the other misfit toys find him and all is well...
So tonight for prayer, it was her turn...here's how it went....
Heavenly Father, Please help me be brave. Please help us to have great safety. Please don't let any monsters come out of my closet..well..only the ones from Monster's Inc, you know right? Mike and Sully, they are funny...oh! and Princesses can come out of my closet too. but no-one else. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
I wish I had my camera when she said it...

I am glad you wrote that down. Let's hope her prayers are answered and only princesses and funny monsters will be found in her closet from now on.
