Harper had his 2 month visit today..even though in like 2 weeks he will be 3 months.

* 15lbs (98th percentile on the charts)

* 23 1/2 in long (75th percentile)

My kids are allways fat and long if you havent allready noticed that. Dr. Boothe asked how much Harper was eating and I told him he usually drinks 5-6 oz every 3-4 hrs, and he made this face..lol..no-everyone thinks he eats so much. I love chubby babies, i dont really think i have seen a skinny baby though?

Mackenzie has been talking tons more lately, sometimes she talks and talks and i just giggle at her cause she has conversations with Elmo and Harper swing, and the Telletubbies, and anyone else she has become friends with. She is such a busy girl and she has got so much energy it makes me tired just watching her.

Suprisingly she hasnt said the "no" word until 2 days ago, now its her favorite word. She never used to say it and now she says it all day long, about everything. I dont think she really means its most of the time when she tells us no..Kenzie do you want to eat? NO....

Kenzie do you wanna go night night? no..It's cute because she doesnt say it mean or like she is mad, she says it in this cute little voice, and she seems so pleasant, and its almost like she is asking no?

Did I mention I love my husband..

A new favorite of Kenzie's is to put on Jay's and my shoes and try to walk around the house. Thankfully she hasnt gone near the stairs yet.

I have been loving being back at work. For those of you who dont know, I nanny for 3 kids. (just to get me out of the house house i decided to keep working and also cause i love the kids! Kinsley is 3 and Ryne and Teagen are twins and they are 16 months. I bring Kenzie and Harper with me so i watch all 5 of them on Wednesdays and Fridays. It really is a blast and i couldnt ask for a better situation, Kenzie gets to play all day with kids around her age, and i dont have to worry about taking her to a playgriup full of moms i dont know, and its also great that I can control the germs!

So last night Harper slept for 11 hours. Not that he hasnt suprised us enough allready with his sleeping habbits. I found myself waking up just to feel nervous that he hadnt made a peep, i think i spent more time last night walking to his room to check on him than I did sleeping.

Lately Kenzie has become completely obsessed with opening and closing all the doors in the house. Well she cant open them by herself yet, but if she sees one open she just has to close it. I was quick enough to catch her in the act this morning while Harper was trying to take a nap. Not much sleeping goes on when Mackenzie does this all day...P.S...I want a nap

2 Months

Harper is 2 months old! Holy cow it has gone by fast. He is smiling now, and making cooing nosies..and is much more alert than we was last time I blogged. He still sleeps really well and I tell him thanks every day. His cheeks get chubbier and chubbier every day and they are the widest part of his body, just like kenzie when she was little, we keep saying our kids must store up nuts in their cheeks for the winter.

Lisa had her baby in January, Harper looks twice the size of her and he is only about 7 weeks older. Her name is Tabitha, we teased Lisa yesterday that we were going to call her Tabby when she gets older.

Josh, Jason's youngest brother also come home from his mission in the Philliepenes. It's really nice to have him home, everything feels normal again, well not so much normal with the Brown family, but back to the way it should feel when everyone is home.

We finally broke down and decided to buy a double stroller cause it was just to hard to me to try and take both kids out with Harper in a stroller and Kenzie just walking..haha..what a joke that is. We went for a walk on Saturday and braved the cold but we just had to get out cause it has been snowing non stop for like 3 weeks. Kenzie LOVES to be outside and anytime we get near the house or even mention going inside she has a meltdown, but as you can see she was very happy when we got to go for a walk.
