Thank You Southwest!

So I had a voucher for Southwest that I had to use before April and Jay and I couldnt decided where to go, we thought about going to California and going to Dinseyland, but tickets werent really all that cheap, and we wanted and needed a cheap getaway. Well last night when I went to our RS activity Jason was messing around trying to find tickets.
Southwest is having a 50% fare sale to Seattle right now, it only last 1 more day, i think. We got our tickets for $30 each way. Thats awesome, we only paid $20 in the end after I had used my voucher...woo hoo..We both have been there before, never with eachother. I went with a family that I nannied for from Montana. The little boy Christopher that I nannied for had to have open heart surgery, so we were there for a sad reason, and I didnt get to see much, since we were in the Childrens Hospital most of the time. And Jason has gone for a horticulture field trip when he was in school in Rexburg. So we need some ideas..has anyone been there and done something really fun? Got any ideas for us? also, anyone have a hotel recomendation for us? I need some ideas :)

Mackenzie says

We really connot believe how fast Kenzie's vocabulary is growing, a few times a day it seems like she has got something new to say. Jay and I look at eachother sometimes and say to ourselves, how the heck did she learn that? Here are some of our favorite things Kenzie has been saying lately.

1. If she is misbehaving, and talking back and we say, kenzie you have to listen to mommy and daddy cause we are the boss..she says "no..im the boss"
2. If well ask her if she wants to take a bath or a nap, she so very casually says..."no..im fine"
3. If i say something to Jason like why are you teaching her that or why are you saying that..or i say, Jason your being naugthy, she continues on to tell daddy that " daddy..your naughty..you get 2 minutes in time out, with the timer (as she points to the microwave)
4. She will pack up her babies in her stroller with the baby diaper bag, and toys in the basket, and ask for her coat, and then she will tell me to find the keys, and when I ask her where she is going, she says " im going to grandmas house, i'll see you later, be good."

These are just a few, I really should write down everything she says, cause its a hoot!

Christmas 2008

We ended up celebrating Christmas the weekend after. Jason's brother family and his sister family had their flights cancelled. So we had to postpone it for a few days, which was killer! But at least we go to go to the after Christmas sales and get some good deals. We posted lots of pics on our Picasa Album so you can check them out by clickin on the slideshow on the top of our blog. We had lots of fun taking the kids to Planet Kid. We went to the botanical Gardens and took a cold stroll to see the lights! And jut ate pies and pizza and turkeys and played crap on your neighbor! Oh what fun Christmas time is with the Brown's.

4 Years

Jason and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on the 28th of December. I know I complained about not being able to go to the anniversary inn, but Jay suprised me and we still went! We stayed in Sleeping Beauty's Castle...and ate Chinese Food. Yumm
