Permits??

This post is going to be totally random,but it is something that bothers the heck out of me, and I needed to complain, and I also wanted to know what you all thought of it...



What does it take to get a handicap permit? do you really have to be handicap?..do you actually ever see anyone use the handicap parking spots that actually are handicap??



NOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



This irritates the heck out of me, So there are wayyyy to many parking spots for handicap people..like 20 in a parking lot..lets say Winco is a little excessive! Think about how many times maybe you have drove around a parking lot looking for parking and there is no-where to park except 2 miles away at the end of the parking lot..and then you look to the handicap spot..and who gets out..but 2 young people, pretty much skipping/running into the store with nothing wrong! Honestly, I really think I have seen a legit handicap person pull in a spot and get out like 3 times, in my whole life! Do you ever see anyone that actually is handicap?



This bothered me so bad that yesterday I looked at the Idaho DMV website and here is what I found:

Any disabled persons includes any person who is unable to walk 200 feet or more unassisted by another person,without the aid of a walker, crutches,braces,prosthetic device,or wheelchair,or without great difficultly or discomfort due to any of the following impairment types: neuralgic,orthopedic,respiratory,cardiac,arthritic,blindness,or the loss of function,or absence of limb or limbs.



How bout me...what about prego mom's or single parents who have 4 kids in tow, and have to park 2 miles away and walk through a busy parking lot, trying to make sure their kids dont get hit by a crazy person who thinks they can just back out of a spot without looking?!?!? Shouldnt I get be able to get a permit? All you need is for your doctor to sign a piece of paper..what a joke..but Idaho doesnt care..they make money off of you..



ok, so how many people do you see actaully have any of those,Im not saying everyone that parks....lies about it..but if someone were you have any of those dissablitlies..I think you would be able to tell. And when people jump out of their cars, with NOTHING wrong, It makes my blood boil!! Even old people...just cause your old doesnt mean you should get a permit!



And while I am on the subject, old people..maybe people that are 65 plus..should have to take a driving test, written and physical...to make sure they are still capable to driving, and not causing accidents cause they drive 10 miles an hour and slam on the breaks when no-one is around!

belly pic and baby update

I cant believe I actually put this picture up..I hate pictures of myself, let alone when I'm preggers and fat.

So, I had my regular visit today. Technically I am 27 weeks and 5 days. But I am measuring 30 weeks..so a little over 2 weeks bigger. Dr. Archibald laughs at me when I say this kiddos is big all ready, i know it. (he didn't believe me last time with Harper and he was huge, I should have been induced sooner than I was. ( I was induced the day before my due date)

So there is a new hospital policy that they wont induce any sooner than 39 weeks on anyone unless it is an emergency (sucks for me) So..at my first 2 weeks appointment (in a month) he is going to do another ultrasound to see how big he is getting. When he listened to the heartbeat today, he goes, 146 beats!....yea..thats a big baby! Also, he said that at 37 weeks, he'd strip my membranes and see if that helps speed things up. (with Kenzie is did, Harper not so much)

Other than that, I feel good. Gotta stay busy! This pregnancy seems to have gone by so much faster than the other 2...probably cause I am so busy!

All I do lately is think...think about the baby, how tired I am, how I am convinced that my due date must be wrong..I feel huuugggeee!!! how much Jason needs to find a job (one where he can actually use his degree and put to use all the money we spent with him going to school).

Jason was let go in (sorta) in December 09. Since then we've been off. Once husbands go get a job, They are not meant to be home! He gets in my space, I get in his, he does things different and it makes my head spin. He has been working when the "weather is nice"..gotta love landscaping. I hate seeing him so down, and frankly it's getting me down too. Being preggers isn't helping things either. I feel like if I wasn't preggers maybe we could move somewhere else and he could find a job?..he's had about 5 or 6 interviews that he has been excited about, one in Portland, and just yesterday he drove 5 hrs to Prosser, Washington for another one. He called me as soon as he walked out of it, and said, Babe, you'd hate it here. Literally the place where he would be working, is 40 miles away from even a small town...and we would have to live in a mobile home, on a farm. HAHAHA , would that ever happen! he just gets so excited about the prospect of a job, and then he doesn't like it...ahhhh!!!! If anything, when he left the interview they gave him a $30 bottle of wine. haha

I am totally blabbing, not making any sense huh?!?! sorry..don't read if you don't want to.

I was hoping that he would hear back from an interview he had here in Meridian last week, but nothing yet. There are so many people without jobs, that when when a good one comes along, there are a million people that apply to the same position, just gets old. I pray every day, 100 times a day that he will find something, right for us, when the time is right. All I keep getting is that I need to be patient, and it will happen when it's supposed too. I know, Heavenly Father's time..not mine..but doesn't he know we have a baby coming in like 2.5 months?..diapers aren't going to fall out of the sky! All I know I can do is try to be positive, and encouraging for both Jay and I. I don't know how strong I can be when everything keeps falling through.

Then there is the fact that Jason wants to start his own thing. He has has a business license for 2 yrs now. He needs a truck, trailer, and a mower, and he could be off doing his own thing...what bank in their mind, would give a business loan to someone who was making 1/2 what he was 6 months ago. So that goes out the window. Come on, big buy..make a truck fall from the sky..please!! It will Cheer my husband up...alot!

ok, I feel like I could write for another hour and just vent, but alas...Harper is getting into trouble..maybe more later...
