Mackenzie goes to Kindergarten eeekk!!!

Kenzie's First Day Of school! Holy cow, I cannot believe we have a kid in school..She loved school, left me fine..I didn't tear up until Harper asked if he could stay with her cause he was going to miss her. He went over and gave her a hug and kiss, and then I started to cry, so we left :)

Here are a few funny things she said her first day:

1. Mom, I don't like that I have to raise my hand to talk

2. I don't want to talk to the boys at my table cause if I talk to them they are going to want me to marry me. (hahahaha) ..keep that mindset for another 2o yrs OK Kenzie?

3. She was telling me about a boy in her class (who I've seen outside- he's huge and looks like he should be in 3rd grade!..he doesn't seem very nice either)...so when I picked kenzie up from school today I asked her who he was, and Harper said very loudly, Mommy! that's GIANT!

haha, those kids make me laugh, I love them :)

Hurricane Irene- New York Style

This was my parents driveway on the day of Irene..stupid Irene!

The bottom floor of the house flooded, and the cars were filled with water. Felt helpless that I couldn't be there to help!

Western Idaho Fair

We went to the fair this year..remind me not to take the kids again..it was family day..but for some reason most of the moms I saw there, dressed like a bunch of hoochies! my goodness..the kids had fun, but I could have done without half

naked moms and daughters, and paying for the kids to get in and not being able to ride barely anything!

Because I am always the one taking the pics I made sure to get in a few of them this time!



This is when we were on the Ferris wheel, holy moly! before I had kids I rode any ride, anywhere..now I felt like my stomach was going to fall out! on the Ferris wheel mind you..I think it comes with mom territory ( the whole time I kept thinking what happens if one of the nuts or bolts come out!) I was making myself nervous, but I don't like them!
Jason said when him and Harper got to the top Harper thought it was time to get out! crazy kid

Quick Utah Trip

Kenzie and I went down to Utah for a quick trip, it was just for fun in the beginning, but then we ended up going for a funeral also, all in all it was good weekend, and such a fun drive with our buds!

This Past weekend we met up with Jason's family at Alturus Lake, they camped for a week, we only stayed 1 night, but it felt wayyy longer than that! Note to self: it's pretty, but way to far away and wayy to cold at night! 37* in a tent with 3 kids, no thanks!

He is such a big boy, people often ask how old he is, and when i tell them he is only 13 months they are amazed at what a big boy he is!

He talks and jabbers all the time..he says quite a few words we can understand
