Me: Yes Kenzie
Kenzie: I didnt tell the truth last night, I told a lie
Me: about what?
Kenzie: Well when you gave me a piece of cake and put the rest in the garbage...
me: wondering where this was going.....
Kenzie: I ate the piece you gave me, but then I took the piece out of the garbage and ate it too..
Pause-I think she was waiting for me to say something
Kenzie: and it was better than the first piece I ate
Me: silence......

OH MY GOSH!! That is super nasty and totally hilarious at the same time!
That is super funny and so much like our house, gross as it is, kids just don't seem to poounderstand gross. Was the cake in the story Carolyn's birthday cake?
