Urgent Care

Not my idea of a fun afternoon with the grumpy 15 month old with a "head laceration"
In Relief Society today, it was such a good hour..until the last 10 min. Harper had a really clutsy day today, in the earlier hr, he rolled himself down the stairs(but that one was daddy's fault)
Harper was being so good today, and off he ran to make someone else smile, and he tripped over his own feet and hit his head on a metal chair. He must have hit where the nail isnt perfectly flush with the chair, and he started screaming. I didnt think to much of it, but when i got out in the hall, he was gushing blood all over me! Luckily we found a bandaid, and left church and then i spent FOREVER..in the urgent care, so the doctor could look it him.

Luckily no stitches, just glue..it was gross after the doctor cleaned it off, he said, yes...it's a good thing you brought him in, because if you can see yellow fat under the skin, it's a pretty deep cut. I keep laughing at Harper and telling Jason he should be in spandex dancing to 70's music cause he looks like he could be rockin out with that bandaid!

I had no idea when he fell that he hit his head! I am glad you got the care you needed. Nothing's worse than trying to decide if you need to go to the ER! Isn't the glue amazing? So much better then going back and getting stitches out. Give him a hug for us!

I am glad to hear that he is okay. What a crazy thing to have happen at church. That just goes to show you that no matter where you are and how careful, children are capable of injuring themselves. We are glad to hear that he didn't need stitches.

Oh my gosh. I saw him trip and hit that chair in front of where I was sitting and I saw and heard his head hit pretty hard. I thought he would have a big lump maybe, but the urgent care?? Poor guy and Poor you!

I guess he must have hit it just right. Ouch!

What luck!? Poor Harper with his head laceration. Your mom and dad were telling us the story and I just felt so bad for him. Hopefully it heals soon. I'm sure he's up and running around like normal already!

What a sad picture. I didn't see he had such a bad fall, I did hear the thunk and cry that followed. What a way to spend your Sabbath! That's nice he didn't need stitches though.
