The Moms' Club

The book I am currently reading is called, Moms' Club Diaries. Here is a paragraph from it that i thought you Moms might enjoy, even those that dont have kids yet, im sure you will understand it some day.

"As a mother, I wasnt given a handbook telling me the steps I needed to take to become succesful. All day, I'm in the company of someone whose sole purpose sometimes seems to undo what i've done, to sometimes quite literally pee in my reaction. At the end of the day, theres no group of collegues to toast my success. There will never be a moment when a committe of well-dressed professionals shakes my hand and tells me that I'm finished, that I passed, never mind a piece of paper with my name on it to put in a fancy frame. But I'm grateful thats there's no diploma for motherhood. It's not a task to be completed, not a set of hoops to jump through. I'm gratfeul not just because it's eternal, but because it's far to important."
